Sunday, May 3 rd – 7:00am – 12:00pm Walk for Hunger
Boston Common, Boston, MA

The Walk for Hunger is held on the first Sunday in May every year. The
20-mile Walk route weaves through Boston, Brookline, Newton, and
Cambridge. Money raised through The Walk for Hunger funds more than 400
food pantries, soup kitchens, food banks, and food salvage programs in 126
communities across Massachusetts.

Saturday, May 25 th – 1:00pm – 4:00pm a Stroll Along the Bedford Bike Path

Meet at the Bedford Bikeway Source, 111 South Rd, Bedford, MA 01730
The Bedford to Boston Bike Path starts here. A great partly shaded area for biking, walking
or rollerblading. The bike path is located just a few a minutes from the Bedford
Center/Whole Foods, Bedford, there is plenty of parking on location. Rentals are available
if you would like for ½ day or a full day.

Bring your picnic basket your blanket to spread out and your lawn games to enjoy some
afternoon of fun. Park Services: WADING POOL, TENNIS COURTS - LIGHTS,
SOFTBALL FIELD, TRAILS, PLAYGROUND, HORSE SHOES,

CITY PARK, PICNIC AREA, HISTORICAL SITE, RESTROOMS

Boston Common, Boston, MA
Free-day-long family festival, classic backyard food, and a colorful mix of
good-time games and activities for all ages. The Life is Good Festival will be
held on the Boston Common, on June 20th. Funds raised will benefit
Project Joy, a non-profit organization whose mission is to use the healing
power of play to transform children impacted by violence, poverty

and loss into healthy players in the game of life.

McCarthy Middle School Field, Chelmsford, MA 01824
Bring your picnic basket your blanket to spread out and your kickball or any other lawn
games you may have (croquet, badminton or cricket) and enjoy the afternoon with some
